I got into some wind and rain. The passenger side wiper started hitting the passenger windshield post and parking a bit too far outboard. The spline shaft and wiper arm cap do not appear to be stripped, so I thought that loosing the large nut that holds the arm to the body would allow me some adjustment of the whole assembly, but when loosened there is no movement of the assembly or arm.
Anybody have any ideas on how the arm got out of adjustment and how best to re-adjust it?
Thanks

Had the same thing happen on our intrigue. Used a small "puller" to get the wiper arm off. You can get them at Harbor Freight (cheap) or any auto store. PS, we also had to replace the wiper switch, which was hard to find, found the OEM but they changed the switch, had to add a relay to make it work right.
