I posted back a few weeks about the cooktop not working. Yes I have a full tank of gas. Hot water heater works fine. Lp gas detector is on also. Is there a valve just for the cooktop? I also took line off of cooktop to bled line. No gas there. What is my next step?

That does sound strange. I'm assuming the stove did work at one time so it's connected. There must be some blockage in the line going to the stove. The gas pressure is very low after the regulator so it probably doesn't take much to block it. There is probably a flex line that connects your stove since it's in a slide, check there, maybe it got kinked. Otherwise follow the line back to where it connects to a main line and check that. Where is your furnace located, ours is in the kitchen, if it's the same slide you may want to check operation.

Good luck

Do I recall a recall having to do with the line to the gas top on some CC's?

Might want to check that angle.

If a valve exists, it would be visible in the cabinet under the stove top, or at the bottle. Would be the normal places. Suspect you knew this...

Good luck, and please close the loop back when you find the fix.

Remove the LP detector. I do not recall but there may be a valve behind it going to the cooktop.
Also, check the electric solenoid valve at the propane tank if your detector shuts off the propane when it alerts or power to the detector is turned off. That valve or its wiring might be defective?

There was a recall for our stove. Gas line was wrong material and could melt. Ours was fixed under warranty.

On my coach (03 Intrigue #11554) there is a valve in the cabinet under the stove on the extreme left side.

Gary

When this happened to me, resetting the LP detector (off/on) fixed it.

We store our unit for long periods of time. The gas cooker is always slow to start up. First check the valve under cooker. But it does take a loooonng time for the gas to come up the line. Turn it on and wait a minute or two. You'll smell it when it get there.

(From the digest). I am not aware of a recall, and our coach is an '04 Allure #31035. Can you (or somebody else) send information about the recall and what it entailed? We have owned the coach for two years, and I don't recall seeing any documentation about such a recall in the extant records. TIA.

Thank you for that link. I found three other recalls of which I was not aware.
