Sounds like you had a great summer trip. We have done the Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island trip, but have not ventured to New Foundland.
Are you guys planning to attend the Country Cousins rally in October?

Please allow an unsolicited comment....... DON'T MISS NEWFOUNDLAND! It was probably the most enjoyable trip we've taken. The people are great... the island is a little like the coast of Maine.

Yes.... It's a long boat ride (ferry) but was worth it to us.

The boat ride is only 6 hours and you can watch a movie in their theater or for a small fee get a cabin to sleep or shower in.
There is a bar on the ferry with live entertainment.
And besides New Foundland is beautiful.
