I have avoided these in the past because we're part-time and when we do travel we usually stay in one place for an extended time. Later this week we're setting off for 3 months and I expect to move around quite a lot chasing warmth.

Any preferences out there for these memberships?

Passport America - some restrictions on days of week, holidays, etc. Need to check their website for most current restrictions per campground. It always pays for itself with good planning. For example, we stay at at PA park during the week for the time of their discount.
Good Sam Club - 10% off at Good Sam parks. Always pays for itself.
KOA - discounts and points for future coupons. I wouldn't say this one pays for itself because most KOA's are higher in price than other campgrounds. However, we like KOA's if there is no other campground alternatives in the area.
Another way to save money is to stay in Corps of Engineers parks, city and county parks and state parks.
No matter the discount, we always read www.rvparkreviews.com before we make our plans.
I also use www.woodalls.com and you can search by "big rig friendly" if you need to.
Enjoy your trip! Keep us posted.
