I believe there are 4 parking areas near the fest grounds. We were there last year with Fantasy Tours in the one parking area of the old fest grounds. I believe that is the largest area that has parking. Many RV groups reserve spots there for their RV groups, so you my want to look into that. There are 3 parking areas adjacent to the new fest park that run $150 to $250 a night, with 30 amp and water service.
We really liked the Fantasy Tour because of all the added activities and side trips that were included. The balloons fly early in the morning and there are balloon glows at night, weather permitting. From about 9 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon, there are times for the side trips. Many meals were included as were the tickets each day the fest park.

Contact me off line and I'll tell you more.

Best to book NOW for October 5th - 13th, 2013. There are a variety of sites available on the Balloon Fiesta grounds. You may find balloons landing within 200' of your coach (or even much less!!!) Easy walk to the launch area! See:
http://www.balloonfiesta.com/ (http://www.balloonfiesta.com/) http://www.balloonfiesta.com/guest-guide/rv-information (http://www.balloonfiesta.com/guest-guide/rv-information)
Specifically:

"Our four site types include: STANDARD $30.00 per night(dry camping), PREMIUM $65.00 per night(electricity with 20 Amps minimum and water provided), VIP $85.00 per night (dry camping adjacent to the Launch Field with entry passes included) and PRESIDENT'S COMPOUND $150.00 per night (premier sites on a bluff overlooking the Launch Field with city water pressure and 30 Amp minimum electricity)."
If you're lucky upon arrival, you might even get 50A service in the Premium area by going in early!
