I am recent owner of a 2003 CC Magna, dual slide 42' 505 Cat. Love it. I am trying to update some of the electronics. In this case the rear tv. I took off the trim around the opening and tried moving the tv, but it seems to be hung up in the rear. Is there a trick to remove the rear television

Mark and Denise,
If yours is a Resort floor plan like mine, I may be able to help.
Go into the closet and look to the left. There is an access door that leads into the TV cabinet. Remove this door and you will find the two screws that hold your TV to the floor of the cabinet. I replaced this with an LED TV on an articulated mount and a Blue Ray DVD player.
I also replaced the front monitor on the lift with an LED TV.
Good luck with your TV project.

Hi George
No access panel in the closet, we are 6210, maybe they added the panel in later models. Do you have the safe in the closet?

Yes, we have a safe. My access panel is above the safe and on the forward facing wall. Four screws hold the panel in place.
Is your coach the Resort floor plan?

Yes a resort model and no access panel. Strange.

I have placed an album named "Bedroom TV........." in the Photos section. The picture shows a view of the short wall between the closet and the TV cabinet.
The shot is taken inside the closet facing more or less forward. You can see the largish removable panel. This is above and forward of the safe.
I suggest you take another look.

Hi George,
First, thank you for the help. I see the panel in your photo, no such panel in my coach. Mine is a continuous piece with no breaks as you clearly show. I wrote to CC to see what is up.

I can't imagine how they have that TV installed without access.
I suggest that you call Butch Williams at Fountain RV in Lakeland, FL. He worked on the build of our '03 Magnas and may well know how access is obtained.
Good luck.
