I have owned a 45 ft. Concept for 10 years. Perhaps I can answer some of your questions. Concepts were built in 40 & 45 ft. lengths. "Alpha" was the 40 and "Omega" the 45. Only about 12 per year were built from 96 or 97 to 1999. Gillig Chassis were used the first 3 years or so with CC's in house chassis design used later. They were about $560 to $580K when new.

I would like to add that the 40' Concept was made as early as 94 with a Detroit 8V92TA 450 HP., and a Gillig Chassis. Barrie Boas 94 Concept 5111

I believe the very first Concepts cam with Detroit 6V. I looked at them, but they were seriously under powered.

My first Concept was a 1989 40' with a Detroit 6V92. The power seemed OK until I traded for a 1994 with the 8V92. What a difference. I believe the Concept was the best production line MH ever built. Too bad CC discontinued that model for the LEXA, which never really made it. At this time in my life/RV style, I woud truly like to have a 36' Concept quality MH with one slide and a Cat or Cummins engine with around 400HP. It would probably be out of my price range.
