Anybody knows any good RV spots in Fredrickberg, Tx?

We have enjoyed Lady Bird Park south of town. There is a nice public golf course next to the park. They don't take credit cards if my menory serves me.
That said- with the drought that has captured the state- if it has not rain there everything will be burned up.

I have stayed at Oakwood RV Resort (it isn't a resort) and Lady Bird Johnson City Park. Both were disappointing. Next summer I will try the KOA. Appears nice with lots of trees.

We stayed at the KOA outside of town. Not fancy, but clean, level pull thru. Nice managers. Looks like they have monthly sites in the back that have electric meters.

Buckhorn resort in Kerrville is worth the half hour drive to Fredericksberg. I would highly recommend this resor.

There is a new jelly stone park that is very nice.

My vote is for Kerrville-Schreiner City Park. We've stayed there, like it. Price is right if you're budget minded.

we always stay at the Fredricksburg RV Park. Its not a resort. But the sites are big, the people friendly and the rates reasonable. If your looking for olympic swimming pool, tennis courts and the like look else where. The wifi worked great and there is so much to and see in the area, you probably will be out and around most of the time anyway. $240 a week as I remember from last Spring.

Buckhorn x2. We didn't stay there but drove through and it's very nice. Will definitely stay there next trip that way.
