We're having an interesting problem with our 06 Magna and could use the group's help.
It an 06 Magna with the Silver Leaf system and two Prosine 3.0 inverters and 4 Lifeline AGM batteries. We've got a silver leaf display behind the drivers seat and also a unit on the dash.
Here are our probelms:
* Inverter 2 is not working. Inverter 1 is working fine * We disconnected everything and reconnected and they both worked for a bit. But there was no communication with the silver leaf * At the display on the dash and behind the drivers seat we are unable to start the generator (not sure if this is part of the same problem or a new problem).
* The silver leaf at the dash says there is a "comms failure" when trying to start the generator. Could this also be a comms failure with the inverter?
Has anyone experiences anything like this?
* The AGM batteries (lifeline) are 5 years old, but we load tested them all and they tested good.

Call Martin at Silverleaf, or any of his great engineers.
They will help talk you through it.
They are great folks to work with.
Starting the Genny from the Silverleaf is just a setting change.
Good luck Hans 2005 Magna 630

We have the same setup as you (I Think) . There is a reset button on the bottom side of the inverter . Try resetting it. Check Breakers on the wall beside the inverter. Also while you are in the inverter bay, (between the two storage bays) check all connections. There is also a data module in the dash behind your dash gauges that is like a central comm center for the silver leaf. You can check connections there as well and pull the power cable for 30 seconds and reset the module. Past that I usually talk to Martin. He is a Wiz. Also Brian Vanderwalker in Eugene knows that system inside out . Email me if you need his no.

So we think its the "brain" behind the dash gauges. Called SilverLeaf and spoke with Mark there. 4 of the lights are red and we've tried resetting it. They say the memory goes bad and it needs to be reprogrammed. Have got a replacement unit in the mail will replace, test, and let everyone know what happens.

When mine failed I got a new one and also got Martin to fix the old one so I now have a spare. Was reasonable to rebuild the old one.
