We're considering going up to Vail for NYE, we have a parking spot. We're a bit concerned because the low tomorrow is supposed to be 4 with a high of 15. We have an 06 Magna with Hydro Hot and heated floors. We also have a ceramic heater for the coach.
* We won't have electric hookups so I thought we'd run the gen all day and just run on the hydrohot when we go to sleep. So figure 9 hours. It's an all eletric coach and we have 4 AGM's.
* We've got water in the tanks. Am I better off having the water tank 3/4 full or mostly empty?
Should we forego the trip or will we be ok ? Were headed to the grand canyon on the 1st.

We've been through 4 winters and I've chronicled our experiences here: http://www.muniac.com/Winter_P1.html (http://www.muniac.com/Winter_P1.html) It isn't something I would recommend unless you are adequately prepared. Cold weather can do thousands of dollars in damage in one night. My advice is to exercise due caution and respect for the elements. Good luck.
