Hello all and Happy new Year.
Been without the coach for a month. It wasn't our transmission cooler leaking, it was the hydraulic cooler for the fan and power steering. The hose was so tight that it was putting constant pressure on the fitting. Ended up having to have somebody specialty weld a new fitting on the end cap of the aluminum cooler. Added an extra piece of hose so that it didn't pull on fitting anymore and also kept the hose from rubbing against stuff up above. Had to wait for parts and people because of the holidays.
I thought I had lost one of my 4 8D AGM batteries but as soon as I got it out of the shop and running I took it to the battery place that I bought them and they pulled all of them and checked them in front of me. They all checked out good. Now I wonder how I could go from about 20 hours of house battery to 3-4 hours with no extra load or changes in anything.
It still only shows the same amount of amps out of the Inverter that it used to with the refrigerator pulling almost 2 amps except when the compressor runs then it is almost 4. It seems like something somewhere on the coach must b shorting out or taking a lot more power but I don't really have a way of isolating the individual piece of equipment or circuit.
