I have been struggling with an ongoing intermttant engine brake fault. I decided to look at Silverleaf for any codes and have only this:- 251 2 1 ECM POWER FAILURE

8/10/12 OMI 177F 9PL 1537 RPM

It has been suggested that this may be a fuse failure. Can anyone throw any light on this code and also where are the engine fuses, so I can check them all.

Thanks.

Michael

In the engine bay at the top passenger side is a fuse box. In it is a circuit board with some relays and 5 fuses numbered F1 - F5. F2 was blown and I have replaced it but not tested the outcome yet. BUT the main reason for this post is that all the fuses are labeled 7.5 amps, yet 2 of them have a 20 and a 30 amp fuse!!!! None of the fuses is labeled other than its rating. Do you know what these are and also it would seem that someone has replaced these at some time, anyone got any background please? Michael

Those fuses sound like they are for the tow board. When my towed running lights didn't work, replacing one of the tow board fuses fixed it. My tow board is back there too, but accessible from under WR drawer on passenger side.
