OK I have now reviewed my diary and see that the date of the error code (8/20/12) is the day I picked my coach up from the paintshop. There was a problem with the chassis batteries which I subsequently replaced, however the garage jump started the engine and all was well. (Yes I know there is a battery boost from house but I had not used it before and frankly had forgotten). The engine rpm is shown at 1537 and I assume engine temp at 177f, if I read the code correctly. So clearly I was on the road and had been for at least 15 minutes, so something went to cause this error code? Question is what?

So I now have the following from Silverleaf:-
Cummins Technicians are notorious for only being able to locate the Cummins Engine Codes, not the SAE Engine Codes. SAE Codes are the Codes that the SilverLeaf Products read...

Conferring with Cummins "Experts", the SAE Code "251-2-1" is Cummins Code:
319 - Maintenance : Real Time Clock Power Interrupt - Data Erratic, Intermittent, or Incorrect.

No look up table available?
