Hello friends, I have an '06 CC Inspire w/ a 19' Carefree as in the subject line. I rubbed a tree and have had the roller tube and fabric replaced. Conley RV in Bradenton FL did the work.
After the replacement, it worked but squeaked and the rear arm would need help to come out. After that repair, the awning rolls up in reverse and I'm now told I need a new control box. Carefree does'nt make the "windsmart" control box any more. Any help on the problem would be appreciated both to the reverse roll up and to finding a new Windsmart control box if thats what I need.
Thanks,
Dave Knight

We had the motor go out on our Carefree and I think if you reverse the wires on the motor it runs in the wrong direction. Have someone check the motor wiring as that may be your problem. If the awning goes up and down then the control box is ok. The rear arm sticking may be because they didn't properly align the awning.

Bob
