Hi: I am looking for a 32 ft. Intrigue. I have found 2 or 3 but the pricing sems very high. I know that most short DP's have severe handling problems. Is there anyone here with one of the 32's? How does it handle? Did CC use those SEGI windows? Thanks
Bruce

I don't own one but met quite a few owners at rallies in the past. If they have the small tires. 275R70, then they should be replaced by 275R80 to reduce wandering and handling issues. Some of the Allures and Intrigues had two right height valves in the front and one in the rear, they were supposed to be changed to one in front and two in the rear.in order to better distribute weight while being driven. . A lot of owners were told to transfer as much weight forward as possible to reduce the wander. All suffered with trailing crosswinds and 3/4 cross winds causing the coach to drift. I don't know about the coaches with the 12R tires and the ones with IFS front suspension. It should really make a difference and allow better balance with more weight capacity up front. Those Intrigue with ISC 350 were suppose to be quite responsive, and those with IFS could turn inside a crewcab long wheel base pick-up.

The 32 CC are great little coaches. I know because I owned a 32 Allure/2 slide/330 hp for several years and found it to be a real solid little coach. The one I had was built real well and required very little maintenance/repairs beyond the normal required items. You could take it anywhere and park it in some of the tightest situations. Did it wander, yes. I think having the weight of 2 sides rather than one was a plus.
I replaced the tires, then I took it to Hendersons in Grants Pass, OR, had ride height adjustments made, zeroed in on the correct tire pressure, installed new shocks and then they went to work on the front suspension. It really improved the drive a lot. They said they had taken all the front end adjustments to the max so it was as good as it was going to get. It improved enough that it was no longer a chore to drive it. But, it still required your attention when driving.
Every RV has some type of issue so it always comes down to what you "can live with".
I really liked our little 32 and regretted selling it for a 36 Inspire, which is now gone.

We've owned a 2000 32' Allure for over 10 years. We've had no problem with wander, only issue is with front end bounce. We control that with shock adjustment and keeping the speed down.

Thanks for the replies. The units I am looking at use the 12R tires and are IFS. I notice that one of them has an IPD sway bar and koni adjustables. I guss I will have to take one for a good ride to see if the wander is acceptable. I am really excited about maybe owning a CC.

Hi Bruce, we bought a 32 Intrigue last month and drove it home to Oregon from Tupelo Ms. My experience driving it was that it tracks a long with out to much wandering. Good luck finding what you a want. Mike.

Let me second the positive remarks about a 32' or 33' coach. We have had our 33' 2004 Allure for about three years. When acquired, it did "porpoise" quite a bit, but a CC service visit to correct the problem was successful (shock adjustment) and now we have little problem with that. We have two driver-side slides and a Cummins (no "g" by the way) 370. Its flexibility, short turning radius, and accessibility to smaller camp sites is a decided plus. I am not familiar with short Intrigues, but from an Allure standpoint you cannot go wrong.

I am the original owner of 31104, an 04 33' Allure with a 400 Cummins ISL. I run Michelin 315/80R22.5's having replaced the smaller Toyos (which at the time I felt we're great)
Straight as an arrow, no porpoising or wandering and turns on a dime. Still delighted with the coach after nine years and about 55k miles.

We have a 2004 Allure 33' and have put about 100,000 miles on it. We purchased it slightly used with 14,000 miles on it. We lucked out. Someone had a deposit on it and test drove it and didn't like the way it handled. Said it wandered too much. Lonny test drove it and it did "wander" a bit. After we purchased it, he took it to Tampa Spring in Tampa FL and they set the "toe-in" and that fixed the wander. Recently, we have replaced the shocks and had the ride height set at the factory. We just replaced the rear air bags. All those changes made a huge difference in the ride. Turns on a dime and fits almost anywhere. We also have 2 slides on the driver's side. Perfect floor plan. We full time in it. Country Coaches are well built. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another. We changed the tires (we had the larger tires) from Toyos to BF Goodrich ST 230's load range H, and are very happy with the tires. They were recommended by Pat at Pro Tires in Denton TX who worked on CC's and Prevost. The Toyos road "stiff" and the Goodrich have a much better ride in our opinion.
