Thanks Smitty, lots of info there. I think I will hook them together tomorrow and if it indeed gives me better coach battery time before discharging to 12.1 I will buy a new starting battery and leave the 3 matching age batteries together. I have the room as I built a extra slideout tray above my existing battery tray in anticipation of creating a begger battery bank for the house.
