John,

The 7 that you are seeing is most likely the code for the fluid being too cold. As has ben mentioned, the trans has to be at operating temp, coach level. I realize you already know this, but as a refresher, push the up and down arrows together. The window will start flashing -8 , then -7 on down to -1, then 0 [oil] l [level] O then K if is at its correct level. I do this procedure when ever I pull in to a rest area that is level enough as it takes about 2 1/2 minutes to complete and that gives the turbo time to cool down and turn off engine.
