For anyone who may be interested in installing, replacing or upgrading.
I just heard that Packbrake is offering a 10 % mail-in factory rebate effective now through June 1,2013.
I upgraded to their PRXB a few years ago and the performance difference was amazing especially at lower RPMs....Still not as good as Jakes but, pretty darn good.

Daron,

Do you have any idea as to a approx. cost for making such an upgrade?

Thanx,

Dave

I can not recall the cost. I special ordered through Camping World. Maybe around $400 but I may be way off with that as it was a few years ago. The installation involves removing the existing unit and replacing with the whole new one. Be sure to order new proprietary clamps. I did the work myself in about two hours. It is fairly easy. You may do well to get quotes from various sources as the rebate comes from the factory.
G'luck
