Does anyone know if my Xantrex Inverter should put out 110 power when on the road. I do have an inverter in my truck and it will convert 12v to 110.
Thanks

Yes! Absolutely any time the inverter is turned on and you have 12 volts from the house batteries.

Tom,

Absolutely. We often prepared a slow cooker meal and put the cooker in the sink while traveling. That night supper was all ready when we arrived.

Is there a switch that must be turned on, or is this done automatically. At the moment we do not have 110 power while disconnected from shore, and going down the road.

Tom, You can turn your inverter on/off at your control panel.
On your Xantrax control panel you have a rectangle at the bottom with the word Invert on it. push it and a light should come on. If the light is comes on you should have 110 power.

Thanks, I am saying with red face. Didn't see the switch. Outlets work except for the fridge. We did switch over to the Samsung maybe that has something to do with it

Hi Tom,

You need to transfer your Samsung feed in the AC panel from the Main Section. to the Inverter Section. Here's a picture of mine.

Originally it was connected to the upper section. Needs to be moved to the lower section. Make sure and move all the wires, hot, neutral and ground or you will have problems.

Thanks to all, especially Barney, Kevin, and Butch that helped me figure out which breaker to exchange to transfer my reefer from main panel to inverter panel. Actually only took about 15 min once I got it straight in my head.
