I debating on switching to 4....T105 house batteries this next year.
Can anyone give me a ball park number that these things cost each??
ALSO....it says in my manual for the Heart 2500...that it is "setup" to charge TWO coach batteries...and if I want to charge more than 2 I need to contact Heart. ?? What changes ...if any..do I need to make to the Heart so that I can properly charge 4 batteries??
Thanks

What 2500 inverter do you have? what does the "box" look like? I just completed a major battery and inverter upgrade for Larry Hanson, I could possibly give you some advice, I just need a little info on your coach, current battery setup and inverter.
Thanks

T105's go for $55-60 each here in Jacksonville, FL. I changed my 2 - 8D's out last December to 4 - T-145's with no problem. I was able to get the T-145's for only $10 more each is the only reason I went with them over the T-105's.
I also have the Heart 2500. There was no change in setup except I changed out the remote ON-OFF switch above the door to a remote control panel so I could use the battery equalization function of the charger. Take a look at photos in my folder "KC4FWS". There are also a number of posts on this subject in this forum. Just do a search.

Jim: Gotcha partner! Thanks mucho....BUT !
A)Where did you get the ..??.."control box" ( looking at the panel pic now) you located directly about your "normal" control panel..??
B) Exactly how do I USE the equalization function?? Adjust it..or get it working..??
C) How in the HE**do you get that DA** wooden panel off that the
normal control panel is mounted to????....lol
I fully understand what you are referring to about the "equalization function" but totally in the dark about how to get it working.
Thanks again!

Use the edge of a file and file a diagonal cut in the panel just under the edge of the metal control panel. The control wire, which is telephone wire, will fit nicely under the panel and into the shadow box I built which I also cut with a file. Look close and you can see the cable.
