I have decided to sell my Class A CC due to having an opportunity to purchase a rare vehicle that I have always wanted. The coach is in excellent condition and I have used it quite a bit this year. We actually drove it down to Daytona for the most recent race with no issues at all.
It is fully loaded with a ton of recent upgrades.
The perfect tow rig and Motorhome! I Searched for a while to find a nice Class A 8.3 350hp Cummins non electronics engine Motorhome. In my mind this was the best of the best for reliability and towing.

Been looking at Monacos Dynastys, but found they put in the last Mechanical 12 valve C8.3s in the 1997-1998 time frame. Is your engine a C8.3 and not a ISC8.3? That is a mechanical 12 valve 8.3? Is it original, not one that replaced the original? Thanks. Ray S.

CC started installing ISC in April of 98. My 98 was one of the last 10 built and it had an ISC, which was part of the deal when I ordered the coach at the FMCA rally in Las Crices, NM that Spring. Allures had 330's and Intrigues had 350's. 330 had 1050 ft llbs and the 350 had 1200 or 1250. Which called for Allison to make a specific version of the smaller transmission for that engine, I believe it was a 3066P, check Damon Rapozo's site for specifics. It will give you the serial number and when the changes took place. TWI 98 Allure at the time. 30255

I have a 32' CC that was built in Dec 1997 with the 8.3 mechanical engine. I love this engine and have not had any issues with it (54,000). I get 10.2 MPG when not towing and about 9.0 MPG when towing depending on location. This year I will be towing a GEO Tracker (2000 LBS) and I think my MPG will be closer to 10 (I hope). I fly by RPM not GS. The best RPM setting is about 1625 (my trip wt is 24,000 and GW is 30,000). My GS is about 56-57 MPH.
I was in MX last year (had a great trip) and many of the maintenance shops can work on this engine. On guy called it a boat engine.
Have fun with your new RV,
Randy

I love it and I have done tons of upgrades so far. Just ran into a rare situation I want to capitalize on.
It is an isc engine. I meant pre-2003 when they went to high pressure pumps and electronic injectors.
