Title: Fresh Water Tank Overfills

When connected to city water our fresh tank slowly continues to fill and overflows. The bypass valve has been changed and no joy. If we turn off or disconect the city water and leave the water pump on the pump continues to burp every 20 seconds or so.

I'm stumped!

I had the same problem last year. I also changed the control valve to no avail. I then swapped out the water pump and that fixed the problem. The pump back flow was not seating allowing the tank to fill up through the pump.

Thank you, we'll give that a go in the morning.
