Just received a J C Whitney catalog and they have a 12V portable compressor called the TruckAir for big tires for $42.99. The part number is 50UJ1753B and is made by Interdynamics, Inc. It may be junk, but thought I would pass it along...

I bought one something like that a couple of years. An acquaintance had one and said it was great. Said on the box that it could be used for truck/rv tires. Went out the first time I used it on the MH.

Sounds like the mini I bought..to save money. Was "good" for 275 lbs...made for big trucks..etc.

I was 12 lbs low on a front tire and it blew up before it could pump that tire up to 120.

JUNK!!!!!!

I own one of there and, yes, they will pump up your tires - slowly! Their advantage, other than the reasonable price, is that they can run forever without overheating as they have a cooling fan on the motor. I usually use my 2hp 120volt tankless compressor that I got at Lowes for $100. I think that Sears sells them also.
