We have spent the last four winters in San Diego at DeAnza RV on Mission Bay. Alas, they are closing now and the City will no doubt do something stupid with it. Here's the question: Has anyone stayed in the SanDiego area and could recommend a good place for three months or so?
We are thinking about Santee Lakes or Bernardo Shores. Camperland By the Bay is old, noisy, dirty, etc, etc. There are a couple of others right by the freeway, but that is a big NO for us.
Any experience good or bad near that area you would care to share?
Thanks,
Larry

Larry,
I like the Chula Vista RV Park and Marina. It is south of San Diego about 5-6 miles and a mile west of I-5. The town of Chula Vista isn't too spiffy but the area that the RV park is located is very nice. It is a little snug but all of the pads are concrete and the park is very well kept. It is a little pricey but then most in that area are. I don't know what they charge by the month as we have never stayed that long.
