What is the purpose of the adjustable thermostat in the fresh water hook up bay, its behind an access door which is screwed in place where the water system drain valves and my house water pump is at. It is just below my watts water regulator. The thermostat is coiled and has a temp probe, where does this probe go and what does this control, I have wiring that ties to this adjustable themostat, any help thanks

It senses temp for water bay heat. Set for 40 degrees or so, to turn or bay heat.

Does that mean if and only if I have my hydronic heat running it will automatically run the heat exchanger in the belly compartment to keep it above freezing. Or is there some other heat source? Does that thermostat probe just hang in limbo in that compartment or is it suppose to be installed next to something. Thanks John 98 affinity #5544

I'm not sure about your coach, but I believe what happens when the temp goes below the set point (40 degrees ), the circulating pump comes on. If your burner or electric elements are on, then you will have hot water to the bay heat exchanger. If not, you will circulate cold water.
Hope that helps.
