Bernie. Thanks. I understand the engine to be a series 40. Or equal/same basicl equal as the international. Dt 530 . Both rated at 330Hp what am I missing?

Hi Chris

The 40 series was used mostly for mining farming and industrial. And also some transit busses Google it and it give you a good description Dennis Parker

I suggest that you look at messages 87777 and 87813. They summarize the experience of two members who have the Series 40.
