One unit has the electric slide pully system and the other has the hydraulic design which was a change in mid to late 03.
I would think the electric would be the better choice.
One of the Magnas I am looking at with the hydraulic design has a hose leaking for the front slide and the only way to fix it is to drop the fuel tank........................?

thanks,

John,

I have an '03 42' Resort and love it. It is a late year build so has the hydraulic slides. You'll notice that the electric slides encroach into the bays. I prefer the look of the full height bays as well as the easier access. I've had no problems with the hydraulics.

Good luck with your shopping.
