Any recommendations for a liquid tire preservative treatment, in lieu of Tyre Gards?

For now I use only Aerospace 303. However I will someday give the stuff that Don Seager talked about, I think it was SunBlock, a try.
I have found that Don passes on good tips from what he learned along the way.
Best of luck on your choice!

I used Sun Block on my new Toyos three years ago. The next year they were still jet black but I put on another coat. It peeled off and when I called the manufacturer he said not to put on a second coat for at least five years. Tires look great.

For folks that store their rigs out of the weather and/or not sitting for extended periods in the baking sun when not on the road I recommend soap and water as necessary.

Soap and water. I then spray on Armor All Tire Foam which give the tires a matt clean look. It does not contain petroleum products and provides ozone blocking protection.
When at my home base for an extended period I do use the tyre guards on the sun side. I do not travel with them because the best protection from cracking is driving down the road.
