Has anyone seen a successful conversion from diesel to CNG? Do you know who performs the conversion.

There may be newer technology but historically, I have seen diesel engines that were altered to accept injection of LPG, natural gas or CNG. The gaseous fuel was injected with diesel. These engines required diesel for upper end lubrication which wasn't provided by the gaseous fuels.
Stewart and Stevenson in Houston did this for many engines, primarily in stationary applications as I recall.
