I've had the same thing, had it repaired , saw it work . The next time I tried it it started then cold air. I call it my summer heater. If I keep pushing the switches when it flames out it will work for a while but then starts blowing cold air. Junque High priced junk in my book. Bob '02 Magna6028

Janie, most common issue with Code 7 "Flame Out" is air in the fuel system. But it can be numerous other issues. First make sure the little "T" Bleed Valve on top of Hurrican Unit is Open somewhere between 1/4 and 1 full turn.
Check that all Fuel Line connections are tight. If you have your Hurricane Manual refer to page 5 of 5 for further troubleshooting areas.

Make sure the voltage is above 12v that feeds the panel. If you are dry camping or have weak batteries, this can cause flame-outs.
I had issues early on with this unit, but now going on 7 years trouble-free service.

If it wouldn't even start, it could be the igniter or a fuel issue. If it started, then flamed out, it could be a fuel delivery. When I had similar problem mine automatically tries three times before it quit. Turned out to be the igniter.

Roger doesn't work on Hurricane furnace. He can recommend someone who can, I emailed him a few months back with question on my hurricane and his answer was I don't work on the hurricane furnace and then he gave me the name of someone who does, in Tucson.

At one time, Lazy Days RV center has a Hurricane qualified tech, I don't know if he is still there and I don't recall his name. You could give them a call and see if they have anyone who is qualified to work on your Hurricane.

Got some good news, Chris is back in business for himself as of Next Monday. So if your in the Tucson Phoenix area and want your coach worked on by one of the very best get in Touch with Chris. He has a very reasonable rate and has access to parts from the manufacturers directly or equivalent replacements if you want to save a buck or two.
For those who don't know Chris, he was a team leader at CC Service., started out by building Prevost conversions aT CC, he was in charge of warranty repairs for CC for the Western region, while stationed at Beaudry, he later became service Manager at CC, before retiring when his wife graduated from college. He started his own business repairing coaches while CC went under for a couple of years before Lazy Days enticed him to come work for them. But promises weren't kept and Chris wasn't satisfied by the lack of personal contact with the customer, so he's back offering us the kind a service we have always wanted at a great price. Chris also worked at Monaco for a while repairing coaches that were under litigation by owners. He repaired their coaches with customers being allowed to watch, saving Monaco a ton of money. The reason I bought my 04 Intrigue was even though I knew, CC was having issues in service that Chris, Larry Sherwood and Doug Rutherford would help me out and keep me satisfied. After Doug and Larry left CC, it was and is still Chris that's my primary service provider and source of info about my coach. I couldn't be happier he's back.

Janie, I forgot in my earlier post, that after putting on new compressor, fuel pump and other components I found my problem to be "cracks" in the fuel supply line from tank to Hurricane. You diagnose this by having a Tech pull a vaccum on the fuel supply line, if it doesn't hold a vacumm it pulling air into the hose and to your system.
Another easier approach is to get a coffe can fill it with diesel and get a 1/4" diameter 3 foot long fuel hose from parts house, disconnect the current supply line, attach one end of the 3 foot hose to the fuel filter inlet and place the other end in the coffee can and start Hurricane up. It may take a couple of times, but if it starts and runs correctly you know your fuel supply line is bad.
I replaced both my Fuel Supply and Fuel Return lines. This was due to Gates Rubber Co selling CC an bad model of Fuel Hoses for a period of time. I confirmed this with Gates, but they just said sorry This is not an easy task.
Thanks, Mike 03 Allure 1st Ave. #30898, my coach was built in Aug/Sept. 2002
