I'm looking for a source of the Nelson #84220A hydraulic filters other than CC. I'm in the midwest & checked with Cummins & FleetPride and neither carry them. I'm getting ready for a trip to SoCal and could stop along my way. Called FleetPride in SoCal & they do not carry them. Anyone have a source west of the Mississippi?

Steve,
I had trouble finding them also. I had a local FleetPride dealer (East of the Mississippi) call around to other dealers and finally found them at a Fleetpride in Parkersburg, WV, phone number (304)485- 2036. I had them UPS them to me. They're not heavy, so a 2-3 day shipping probably won't be expensive. I hope I didn't get the last three.

I bought my Nelson Filters at Cummins in Tampa Florida. They told me that the filters should be available at any Cummins dealership. The price was the same as CC, so it doesn't matter where you by them. As previously mentioned, they are very light and the shipping charge should be minimal.

These filters are cheap, get them from CCI and save a lot of trouble. We always get them at a CCI rally. They are about $6 each with no freight cost or tax. Just call CCI about 30 days before a rally and tell them you want 3 of the filters and anything else you need and they will put them on the truck.
