We are visiting our kids in Gold Beach, Or.
Our son installed a new 50 amp RV outlet for our coach.
We checked the plug connections before plugging in.
We had 120 Volts from both Hot connections to ground & neutral.
All seemed O.K.

But the next day I noticed the Wet Batteries, both house & Engine were charging at a high rate, i.e. boiling acid out the vents.
Then Fridge stopped working on Electric, we switched to propane & went away for the day.
And Came home to a still non-functioning fridge.
Then over the night the wife noticed the surge protector was switching off the shore power, by her electric clock resetting.
So, we unplugged from the 50 amp & plugged into a 20 amp wall outlet.
All is good again. Fridge is cooling on AC voltage, etc.
Then our son noticed the neutral connection in his box was loose.
I'm not brave enough to re-plug into his connection. Will be happy of the 20 amp that works..
The Big mystery is why would the Fridge not work on Propane??? Any input would be Greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

If you mean the Fridge was not cooling:

1. The propane was not flowing?
2. There is no propane?
3. There was no battery power to operate the Fridge controls. But you likely would have known this when you first switched the Fridge to propane manually.

If the ice maker was not working:

1. The inverter was not on.
