After having my coach just 8mo getting the roof washed and waxed then working my way down, took 3 days time to check the slide motors. PS- After cutting out some of the false wall bolts look good and they are tight, (4)13mm then I went to the DS- one bolt ready to fall out and the other 3 I could turn them by hand. Looks like I need to get some loctite and do it right.

Floyd, Good catch. I fought a shear pin problem for two years, Spent many hundred of dollars at repair shop only to find the same thing you did. Fixed myself and problem solved.

I have posted this issue before, everyone should check these bolts that attach the motor to the compartment wall.

My '08 Intrigue is having an arthritic pain in the slide. The "big slide" on the drivers side hesitates on the back side before completing the extension. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Marty

Look at the Power Gear Rod where it attaches to the slide motor. It sounds like the hole where the shear bolt goes thru the rod is "wallowed out". If so, the shear bolt will soon break. The only solution is to order a new turning rod from Power Gear. Special order. $500 or so. Good Luck D Jean

Is it an HWH Hydraulic Slide?

In my experience the HWH hydraulic slide troubleshooting is rather straightforward. Did it myself in a campground.

The fix can be a different story.

If you have the original CC documentation box it explains all. I could email you my complete manual if you don't have it (PDF).

My slides stopped extending... Found out hydraulic lines were leaking, saw fluid dripping off of rear most passenger side tire mud flap... The hoses that were used were not good enuf to endure the heat from the engine area...had to have hoses rue situated and replaced... premier in junction city, or did an awesome job getting the problem diagnosed and fixed....Jan06 intrigue 11951 From:

Marty,

Butch at Fountain RV is great and I'm sure he'll resolve your problems. He did a Pre Delivery Inspection for my Intrigue

Lee, I do not have the trouble shooting manual you were talking about, sure would like to have a copy! Slide is still not doing a good slide. A PDF file is great. Send to amo 3232@....

Thanks, Marty
