In a couple of days we will put the coach in storage for a month or so. We always wonder whether to fuel up before storage or when we take it out for our next trip.

What do you experts say?

Always keep the fuel tank full to reduce water accumulation from condensation.

Shirley,

One month should not cause any harm with less that full tank unless ambient temps are subject to severe temp swings from day to night. For longer periods it is advisable to add water inhibitor to tank while adding fuel. This fluid will absorb water condensation that drips down the sidewalls of the tank and then sinks to the bottom. Water is the enemy of diesel tanks. It can cause rust and encourage bacterial growth which can clog fuel filters.

Thanks for the replies. The ambient temps here in Idaho should not vary more than 20 degrees, probably 65 to 85 in the next month. But, we will visit Love's for a substantial monetary deposit on the way to storage. We have 700 miles on this tank!

Again, this Group is such a great resource. Thank you to all.
