Hi guys,

Obviously with an 04 our roof is getting some years on it. It is a metal roof (no rubber coatings) When the morning dew settles on it, the water runs down the sides of the Coach and leaves a white chalky residue. I am thinking its time to repaint the roof. Does anyone have any recommendations? Type / Brand of roof paint or coating?

Thanks

It should be a one piece fiberglass roof top. Do a search on Bus-kote, many board members have had this applied. I'm in the process of having it applied to our roof now, along with a total 'roof re-do' (New AC covers, OTA Digital Antenna, Rusty Air Horns replaced, Cell and WiFi Antennas, re-spray the front caps clear coat) - getting it ready to go for the next 10 years!
Bus-kote for the help on the 'white streaks', insulation value for both heat/cool gain and a bit on the sound too. Having the coat the new AC covers too.
Other products exists, some are now using fiberglass paint decks (more then just paint, it's a two part process) that is also not a new product.
I went with the Bus-kote due to the many positive comments from not just CC owners, but SOB's too:)!

Good luck on your research,
Smitty

I used a high performance acrylic made by Sherwin Williams. It was easy to apply, looks great and has stopped the white streaks.

I had a high performance flexible paint on my roof last year. They did it in the cream colour of the thin stripes on the coach. Easy to keep clean, no more streaks.

Protect-all about once or twice a year works for me.
