I asked Evans what the charge should be for my AC and they said that CC did their own thing with their chassis and they (Evans) did not have any records. Does any one know what the lbs charge is for a 2008 Allure, Sunset Bay (37ft) with Cummins ISL 425? I cannot find any reference in the manuals.

Thanks in anticipation.

A shop that does AC work should be able to charge the unit based on hi and low side pressures. If they cannot or claim they do not know how to, might suggest going elsewhere.

I just had my 2004 CC Inspire charged last week and the guy who is a certified A/C tech put in 4 pounds. I had charged it myself and put in over 5 pounds in addition to what was already in there and he said that was too much. He said 4 pounds max is all it needs. Best to take it to someone who will pull out everything that is in the system, then put back only what is needed (4 pounds)

Michael,

Butch Williams of Fountain RV in Florida and former great Tech at CC advised me 6 lbs. for my 40 ft. Allure 1st Ave. #30898.

Twin Creek RV Resort near Gatlinburg is also very nice. Trolley into town runs right to it.
