I have some U.S. Battery 125 GC batteries. Do others see a grey lead covered deposit on the underside of the battery caps? I recently switched from Lifelines.

Yes, this deposit slowly builds up on the underside of my battery caps too. I have Crown CR-225 golf cart batteries.

Rich,

Yes, I have the US Battery 145s and the dark grey coating on the caps. That coating was there the day I bought them. I am unconcerned about it.
