My rear A/C was leaking water on the bed from condensation. When we removed the shroud and removed the cover over the condensor we found a crack in the PLASTIC drain pan. The crack started at the radius and went all the way down and under the condensor. There are no replacement plastic condensor pans and since it went under the condensor they was no practical way to repair it -- the bottom line was a new $930 A/C, a $45 CC drain adaptor, and 2.5 hrs of labor @$90 per hour, plus tax! I think next time I will purchase a plastic bucket!

Did your extended warranty cover the repairs? I am having the same problem. Where did you have the repairs done? Dale Affinity 6129

After 3 days of battle and an adjustor coming to "see" what was what, The extended warranty covered it. I had the work done at Jack's RV, Tucson, AZ..

Thanks Ken. It is hard to imagine that Dometic does not make a replacment pan. This seems like a pretty common issue. Mine dripped water on the bed, I checked it, and the pan is cracked. But I am out of CC warranty. Dale Affinity 6129

We had the same problem with our '02 Magna - however, we discovered it under warranty and Dometic replaced the entire unit at CC's warranty service people, Birdland, in Houston. Sounds like this is a common issue - wonder why CC isn't stepping up on this one, as it is a vendor part, not something they manufacture.
