Noticed on the trip that we are on, that the Trans Temp gauge has stopped working. I will first clean the contact's at the dash to see if that helps. Then move to the trans and see if I can determine what I can clean there. My Silverleaf unit is working and the temp for the trans does show on the screen.
While on the subject of the Silverleaf, as it scans the different systems, it does not register some of the systems that it scans. How does one check to see if something is wrong, or that system it not hooked up to that portion of the big picture of scanning. Example : Intake air Temp, Road Temp and Fuel Temp. Thanks

Dave,

On my CAT and Allison trans the sensor is connected on the bottom front of the trans. I have had it slip off before. I would start with this connection first.
