GE is sending a tech to check our microwave since the convection heating element turned itself on while we were not in the coach. They will not removed the oven from its perch since they do not install them, just repair them. I have to take it down.
According to the installation manual, the oven attaches to two tabs on the wall bracket at the back, then rotates up to the bottom of the cabinet above. Three very long screws thru the cabinet bottom hold it fast. I have loosened the screws at the top but the oven seems firmly fastened to the underside of the cabinet. Does anyone know if CC used some double stick tape here? I don't want to go prying on the thing until I am sure all fasteners have been removed.
