Has anyone ordered the window seal kit from Dave Root and DIY resealed your own windows. If so, I'm looking for any tips I can get from a novice installer. I just got my kit from Dave and I am about to tackle this task.
Thank you in advance,
Ron Jacobs

From the looks of the site, they sell you seal tape and some special tools and you "take 'em out, separate the panes, clean the panes and re-seal them up again. I would love to hear from someone who has already done it!

Good question I would be interested in knowing more about how you can solve problems with your fog windows also. I kind of thought the only way is to buy new windows.

I had a similar problem on my 1998 Allure. For a description and photos of Dave Root making the repair go to www.rvknowhow.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

I plan to get a kit and try it myself. I have a 2000 affinity with issues AND a 1998 Safari Sahara (this unit is for sale if anyone is interested!) both with issues. I will post results when done!
