My entry step does not move. I have not finished trouble shooting, but does anyone know if the magnetic switch in the door is in the closed or open position when the door is closed? Also does it pass 12 v or grnd? Any trouble shooting ideas are welcome. TIA

We have a 98 Intrigue, switch is not magnetic, standard switch. Original switch was a NC (open when the door is closed). When I replaced the controlled Kwikee included a relay to change the switch input to a NO because they changed the controller. A NC switch is not that easy ti find so when i replaced the switch I replaced it with a SPDT snd used the NC contacts. If the relay evr goes "kaput" I'll use the NO side of the switch and remove the relay.

Dave - I found a complete schematic for this circuit in my manual package. You might check there for those details.
