Charles, Here is a place in Waynesboro, GA. Fred has been a CC repair shop for years. I have not used him at his shop, however, I understand he know CC coaches inside and out.

I had a slide issue with the gears drive and he was able to solve my issue over the phone. Very helpful

driveit1955, where is your leak? Or perhaps, where do you notice the leak? On my 2000 Magna the carpet on my slide gets wet at the forward end of the slide. If yours is the same I would be interested in what you fine out.

We have gone the gamet of solving this problem. We have replaced the seal twice to no avail. It does not leak as this point. What we found we is that there needs to be a neoprene flap at the edge of the awning to divert the water away from the slide. We also make sure that the seal has not turned inside itself when the slide is sent out. We also use baby powder to help it slide a little easier. I think that the moulding around the window in the slide may be turning the seal in at times.

It is likely not the rubber seal around the slide room but the cup at the forward roller. These seals are not intended to be completely waterproof. See post 86347 for the probable solution.

I agree with Rich here. We had a leak at the forward end and it was the cup/scupper that had pulled away from its mounting which allowed water to run inside the coach. Fairly easy fix and cheaper than the seal replacement.

Rich, if you have the bi fold curtain behind you, it will have to be removed, Then the slide can be put out a little ways and the cup can then be seen. The guy that fixed ours took out the driver's seat so he could get some working room. Ours was fixed at Carrier & Sons in Junction City.

We have had same problem on our 2005 Affinity, replaced rubber wipers on sides couple years ago & the top this September. Even though faithful about cleaning/lubricating rubber wipers.
After we sprayed a fabric water repellant spray to the canvas topper, it helped considerably.
Just a suggestion....

Carolina Coach in Hickory, NC is a former CC dealer. I understand they have techs with lots of experience working on our rigs. Exit 135, I-40. They give CCI members a 10% discount.
