In fussing around with my 2004 Allure, I can't seem to locate a switch for turning off the house batteries. I ask because even though I turn of the switch by the front door, there seems to be a parasitic load that is discharging those batteries whilst in storage. Even though they are AGMs, I'd like not to have them fully discharged each time I visit the coach.

Ken,

I was told my 2005 Inspire does not have a house battery shut off. I have a chassis battery shut off, but not one for the house.

I am not sure but I believe an always hot feed to the dash is for the radio presets and the alarm module It can be disconnected by removing a fuse in the chassis battery bay Bob 06intrigue 12047

My "05" Inspire has a house cutoff next to the front door. I have accidently switched it off before and have no 12 volt on the inside.

Tom,

The on/off switch at your front door will turn all power off in your coach.

Turns off ALL power or just DC? Pretty sure it has no effect on AC shore power.
When I was testing various things on my new to me '04 Inspire, the battery cuttoff switch worked, as the overhead lights I had on at the time went off. Now all I get is a 'click' from whatever device it is that is supposed to cut the house batteries. Would this be the Inverter/charger or some other solenoid?

Ken My 203 Intrigue has the switch by the door that turns off house batteries and a switch in the rear bay next to the battery box. This is a manual switch that will shut down your engine battery. Hope this helps Rex 11543

In order to turn off all dc power to our coach we had to turn off the inverters then the house battery disconnect switch.

Jock;

My house battery disconnect, just inside the door on the left with the rest of the switches ('05 Inspire), cut off everything inside the coach. At least, I never had a battery issue when stored for the winter over the 7 years that I owned it.
