Title: Propane tanks

I want to know if the propane tanks in our RV's have to be re-certified every 12 years like the BBQ bottles.

Fritz, The propane tanks are permanently installed and ASME certified. They do not need to be inspected.

The re-certification requirement does not apply to horizontal propane tanks of any kind.
