My propane valve (high pressure) developed a small leak around the collar. The valve is a "Sherwood Valve" part number PV3329D7X. Contacted Sherwood Valve and the responded that the valve was obsolete with no replacement. Seems like there should be a substitute the valve has a 3/4" male pipe (tank) and a POL Female (connect). Has a excess flow of 1.7GPM. Just got the response from Sherwood this AM so will call Manchester, Sherwood, and the local Propane Co that works on tanks for available options. Any input would be appreciated.

mine leaked little when I filled It a month go I'm set to order one when the tank runs nearly out next time. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I'd already looked there and several other places, the bonnet was correct, 3329DBT, (not sure what the DBT means) but was unsure that it has an excess flow feature. Good news is that a local propane place here in Tucson located my valve. Will take the MH in Friday and see if that's really correct. Tank reads empty so I've connected my BBQ and will use the propane (heater and water heater) for the rest of the week to make sure.

As stated in an earlier thread, had a small leak in my propane valve. Talked to several local RV places and they said they could repair. Have some experience with them, labor rates are $100+/hr. Also didn't know how much experience they have working on high pressure tanks. Called Sherwood valve and they said the valve was obsolete with no replacement Found FerrellGas here in Tucson, they rebuilt my valve and replaced the seal on my tank gauge for $40 labor and $18 in parts. At that time they found that the fill valve also had a leak, had to order the valve. Got it replaced today for $84 valve cost, apparently no labor charge. Took them about 15 minutes.
Another note, when I contacted Manchester tank they said the valve was not obsolete and gave me their part number and it was a Sherwood valve. Double checked the specs and it sounded correct, 3/4" F (pipe), F(POL) and a 1.7GPM excess flow. Not sure why Sherwood engineering said there was no part that would do the job!!
