I have a burned out bulb and the orange lens doesn't want to pop off. I don't want to break it: What is the correct way to remove the lens?

SQUEEZE IT IN THE middle, I'll pop off. Don't use a higher watt bulb I'll melt the lens.

Take a small flat head screw driver and pry out the lens from the forward end of the lens cover. Should come right out.
