Group,
I remember a number of you have changed out your RS Xantrex for true sine Magnum. Question is: what wiring change did you do to gain functionality of the network, specifically the Silverleaf whole house monitoring?

I did a Xantrex to Magnum switch on previous coach and it was done on the Allure I have now. The only difference was the network cable to the remote was different between the two. The Magnum uses standard 4 wire telephone cable. Otherwise an easy swap except CC put the inverter in a very tight space on my Allure....a real pain to work around all the other stuff in that small compartment.

IN the Magna this is a complex conversion. All Silverleaf components need to be upgraded. The surge protector needs to be changed in 2005 and prior. I have just completed this if anyone needs help.

I could use more info on your conversion. I brought my 2000 Magna home today after having the inverter changed out to the Magnum 2812. On the trip home the Silverleaf appeared to be working fine. What were the issues you were seeing both with the Silverleaf and surge protector? Your post was the first I have seen regarding compatibility issues with the inverter change out. Thanks, Dan
