How often should I run my engine, if I'm sitting for 5 months? Thanks, John 03 Allure30951

You need to drive the coach and bring the tires up to temp, once per month, start the genset and run the Airs, and make sure the temp of the engine and the transmission get hot enough to burn off condensation. You can't idle a Diesel to operating temp.

If you can't get out and bring all temperatures up to operating limits, don't run your motor. If you just run it in place, you will never get it up to full operating temperature and will do more damage than you will cure. It takes approximately 30 minutes to get all systems up to temperature. If you can't do that, just let it sit. While you are oujt driving around, take the time to run your generator also.
