Three questions from a newby.

After taking a 20 year hiatus from camping because of health problems, I advanced from trailering to motor homing. Just bought a new to me 2001 Country Coach 32' diesel pusher. It still had the VCR with satellite. I took out the VCR yesterday and replaced it with one of my four home Tivos. My winguard antenna works well with it and when the coach is parked in the driveway, I can transfer any of my shows and movies that are on my other Tivos. That process works via my wireless network that all the tivos are on. That process would eliminate the need and cost of satellite. It would also do away with live cable channels on trips other than what I transferred before leaving home. I would still get live antenna channels. I know this won't work for everyone, but if your already into the Tivo thing, it is something else to consider. My Tivo remote also works both Tivos. Has anyone else tried this? Have you found any problems?

The single plug electrical outlet behind the TV that is marked TV Lock-what is its purpose?

I now need to rearrange the cabinet where the tivo is. Today's project-any advice.

The TV lock prevents the TV from being used whenever the ignition is on.
Congrats on the new-to-you CC.

There should two plugs behind the TV. the one marked locked has no power with the ignition key in the on position.

Only part I can answer is the"lock" plug, it has an interlock with the ignition that keeps the power off when the ignition is on. So the driver can't watch TV going down the road.
